Accelerating the Promise of Sustainability
The Jordan Wind Project Company (JWPC) is the owner of the Tafila Wind Farm — the first and largest utility scale wind power plant in Jordan and the Middle East. The project has various stakeholders including international organizations like the IFC, InfraMed Infrastructure Fund, EP Global Energy and Masdar. Given the scale and importance of its operations to the future of energy production and environmental preservation in Jordan, the company sought to develop a long-term communications campaign that not only raised its public profile significantly but also tackled the wide array of issues that drove its creation in the first place, including the urgent need for sustainable solutions to propel the development of Jordan’s energy sector.
Since 2015, Advvise has been delivering on that promise with far-reaching and highly effective campaigns that continue to capture audiences on a regional scale. The campaign has leveraged a 360-degree approach, with a focus on creative direction to capture the essence of the company’s innovation-driven operations. This began with regional coverage of the company’s large-scale launch event in 2015 and continues to this day with a wide array of communications platforms, including video, print, and television. The campaigns have also included a special focus on media relations and social responsibility outreach, both of which have reached audiences across a multitude of communities throughout Jordan.
Today, JWPC is recognized as the industry leader and an authority on sustainability, and has received considerable coverage on prominent international outlets such as France 3, Associated Press, Agence France Press, Al Jazeera, Al Arabia, Abu Dhabi TV, Sky News, and others.
